• How to Wear a Woman’s Girdle for Men

There are many reasons for a man to wear girdles.  It might be for medical reasons, to look thinner, for cross dressing reasons, or they plain just like to wear mens girdle underneath their clothes.  Whatever the reasons, even with the increase in girdles for men in the market place, there still isn’t as much variety as there are for women.  Sometimes, men will just have to wear womens underwear.  If that is the case, you might have some questions as to how to wear a woman’s girdle.  This is a guide for men.

A woman’s girdle isn’t something you can pull on like a pair of boxers or briefs.  You have to be more gentle with it or risk ripping it.  There are zippered girdles or pull on girdles.  Since girdles are meant to be tight, expect some resistance in putting them on.

Put one foot into one pant leg and then the other.  Pull the girdle up from both sides as far as it will go on your thighs evenly.  Next, work on pulling one side up with both hands.    Don’t try to pull it all the way up but work at it slowly.  Try the other size and pull it to as far as you did with the first side.  Take turns pulling one side and then the other until it is as high as you want it to go.  If you have on a zippered girdle, hook the eyelets of the zippered side and flatten out the zipper.  Pull up the zippered tab and make sure you don’t catch anything.

Wearing underwear  that is meant for a woman can pose some difficulty for men.  After all, a woman’s hips, waist and general proportions are different than a man’s sizing.  However, this isn’t hard to over come.  For a man to buy a support girdle for the first time, he usually feels more comfortable doing it online.  This is natural until he feels more comfortable venturing out in special lingerie stores, corsetiers and seamstresses.  The general rule of buying a girdle for men is to buy one size smaller than your natural waist size if you are going to buy a woman’s girdle.  Of course, if it is specially designed for guys, you won’t have this conversion issue.

For men buying girdles for the first time, get as much information as you can and know what is out there.   There are lots of resources for this growing community.
